Tom Howells / journalist & editor

Hello.

I’m a London-based journalist, editor and author. I write about food, culture, design, history, art and architecture, and have contributed to magazines, newspapers and websites including:

The Financial Times, The Guardian, MacGuffin, British Vogue, World of Interiors, Wallpaper*, Broadsheet, N by Norwegian, Country Life, ROADBOOK, Waitrose Food, London Design Festival, The Fence, The Quietus, Crack, FACT, Business Traveller UK, Resy, The Modern House, Time Out London and many more.

I have worked as a commissioning editor at N by Norwegian, Waitrose Food and London Design Festival, and regularly shift at The Guardian as a sub-editor on the features and culture desks.

I’ve also written plenty of advertorial and commerical copywriting (for Architonic, Camron Global, James Purdey & Sons, and others) and am available for developing tone of voice and brand communications.

I have written four recent books for Hoxton Mini Press, and some others before that.
